She completed her M.B.B.S from the prestigious Lady Hardinge medical College, Delhi, MD paediatric and super speciality course DM neonatology from IPGMER Kolkata. She has also trained in various reputed institutes of the country like AIIMS Patna. She is the only DM neonatology available in North Bihar among the few in the state. Her articles have been published in various international journals and has laurels during her career for academic and clinical skills. She is also a regional trainer of government of India of the Neonatal resuscitation programme.
